Looking for easy riding on trails that the whole family can
enjoy?

Monte Sano State
Park: (PDF)

Family Biking Trail: ~4.9 mile long
single track on top on the
mountain.

Gravel road: ~1.5 mile out and
back. You can even continue past the gravel on flat double track
to the overlook at O'Shaugnessee
Point.

Hayes Nature Preserve

Near Hampton Cove, and the
Flint River there are miles of flat smooth dirt trails including
board
walks.

Wheeler
Wildlife Refuge: (GIF

There are many miles of dirt roads
along the Tennessee River running through Wheeler Wild Life
Refuge. 12, 7.8, and 5 mile loops
available.

Located off of Joly B Rd. at the
end of County Line Rd. on the border of Limestone and Madison
counties. Exit off I-565 at Wal-Triana. Follow South until you
hit County Line Rd. Dirt parking lot is about a mile down on the
gravel section of Joly B. Watch for closed gates, just go around
them.

NOTE: Hunting is allowed on the
Refuge. Roads can be open to car
traffic.
